About Rise and Shine

Our Mission

At R&S, our mission is to provide free resources to support mental health and wellness after pregnancy loss.

Still I Rise Goals

* R&S will accept donations towards The CuddleCot system.

The CuddleCot system is a cooling unit that enables families experiencing the loss of their baby at any age of gestation to spend more time with them and enables more time to create memories.

*R&S goal is to place a memorial bench at Restlawn Cemetery in memory of baby Riley & Shomie Williams born still in 2022.

The bench is necessary so families visiting their angel babies can rest because of no seating at angel land where the babies are buried.

*R&S will offer Support groups in person or virtual.

*R&S will cover the cost of head markers for babies laid to rest at Restlawn Cemetery.

*R&S will donate free care packages to local hospitals to give to women who suffered a loss.

Our Team

Our team is made up of licensed therapists, social workers, and other mental health professionals who are passionate about supporting mental health and wellness in our community.

Answering The Call

Rise and Shine Foundation was founded by Sophia and Ralph Williams, to honor their daughters , Shomie Marie Williams born still March 31,2022 and Riley Lorenn Williams born still November 29, 2022.

Rise and Shine Foundation is a 501(c)3 recognized charitable organization, offering mental health resources and support to Mothers devastated by a loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss.
